Toronto's own Worn Fashion Journal's Issue 13 was released not too long ago, and I just happen to have an extra copy to give away to one of you. It's a good one - aaand you can be like one of these pretty girls who reads WORN. I also happen to be a Publishing Intern for the magazine - you can check out my introductory post here (where I talk about how I like Decade, Intelligent Clashing, Happy Accident, Ashley Rose Helvey, and so on).
Anyway, to enter please leave a comment below describing what your favourite 'uniform' is (mine = tents of all varieties). The winner will be drawn with a random number generator on Sunday, December 18, 2011. Good luck!

My summer uniform is floral dresses + clogs always. In winter, just add tights.
ReplyDeleteMine is printed leggings, black boots and a floaty top, matched with some kind of quirky accessory - from an owl pendant necklace to a chiffon scarf tied around my wrist.

my uniform of choice changes constantly but it always includes HUGE EARRINGS. and (if it's cold): a scarf.
ReplyDeletethat's my "outdoor" uniform. but as soon as i enter my house i almost immediately put on these leggings-meet-long-underwear-ish things, a t-shirt, this cotton robe from gap i'm obsessed with (i have it in three colors) & insanely thick woolen socks. my winter reading outfit/uniform. i'd be reading worn in that uniform. with a blanket. and several pillows. and a couch.

ReplyDeletewooop!
ReplyDeletenot going to lie feel most comfortable in my ballet uniform of tights, leotard, and hair in a bun.
ReplyDeletemy uniform is jeans. everyday without a fail, only because I don't have to think about it in the morning.
ReplyDeleteMy uniform is more of a concept - an unpolished look. Stains on my dresses I don't notice until I'm already out of the house and on my way, or smears of my cat-eye liquid liner because I laughed until I cried. My short pixie crop *still* gives me bedhead, and no matter how many times I scrub under my fingernails, dirt ends up there because I'm always putting my fingers into soil.
ReplyDeleteIt's one of my most marked and beloved qualities.
Uniform: Red hair. Red lips. Rolled jeans and brown oxfords/bean boots. Boyfriend's stolen wool sweater. Lots of rings.
ReplyDeleteBright pink lipstick, mermaid hair and oversize sweaters/babydoll dresses.
ReplyDeleteMy uniform is black and white patterned leggings, button down shirt, and a bowtie with a bright lip and ankle boots or my gold tipped tennis shoes. Sometimes I add my green velvet blazer.
ReplyDeleteKnee length skirt, oversize knit, skinny belt, strong glasses + ankle boots are my late November/early December jam. Mess up your hair a bit (longer in front) and you're in business if your name is Vass Bednar.
ReplyDeleteMy uniform the past few months has been crazy geometric vintage jacket, black jeans, black ankle boots, giant brown purse, Giza ring from my shop Summerland with my hair in a bun and coral lips. I love having a uniform, makes getting dressed in the morning so simple!
