JUNG EUN PARK

I'm such a fan of Korean-based illustrator Jung Eun Park. I picked up her other zine, Cicciolina the Cat, at The Book Society last weekend. I'm not sure why I like drawings of cats so much... but these are very fun - especially the tie and sweater! You can order both of Jung's zines through Little Paper Planes.

  4. hmmmmm..

Well, I think the best areas for shopping are Sinsa-dong and Apgujeong (which are a bit expensive, but can have very special things). The best thing to do is just wander around the streets, as there are so many stores. My favourite vintage shop is Dare, which I posted about below - the address is on their website.

Hongdae is also great and has lots of shops everywhere.

If you want to buy souvenir/crafty things, Insadong is best.

One of my most favourite stores is called Aland (http://www.a-land.kr/#/home) and it has locations in Myeong-dong (which is the best one), Sinsa, Hongdae, and Apgujeong. They have great clothes (some by Korean designers, some imported, some vintage) and also lots of fun shoes, bags, and so on.
